Current process for training:
1 – The agency DPAL will fill out the training request form.
2 – Once the completed request is received, we will create an account in the LMS and the trainee will receive an automated email with instructions on accessing the LMS.
3 –All training materials will be contained to the LMS, including videos, quizzes and instructor led training assistance, if necessary.
4 –Once the appropriate training is complete, the end user will receive a certificate. The user should submit a ticket to the HMIS helpdesk with their certificate attached in order to be granted access to the live instance of Clarity.
WHAT TRAINING DO I NEED?
HMIS Training for Pikes Peak - This material is required for anyone who will have access to and/or collect data for our HMIS software, Clarity. It covers basic policies and procedures, privacy and security, entering clients into the database, recording services received and exiting clients from program. The course is self paced with a practical application exercise at the end.
Coordinated Entry - This material is customized for the role you will play in the Pikes Peak Coordinated Entry program. If you need to enroll clients, you will take HMIS Training for Pikes Peak, then continue to Entering clients into the Coordinated Entry System. If you do not need to enroll clients, but rather wish to participate in case conferencing and/or accept referrals in to your program, please submit a ticket for assistance.

In most circumstances users will be able to access training almost immediately. Under some circumstances, this will not occur. While we should receive an email notification, submitting a ticket with the new user's name will ensure we resolve any issues as soon as possible.
