This is the training page for Metro Denver. Please be sure you work in Metro Denver before registering for training. Training attended in another CoC is not valid. You will no longer be able to register through Eventbrite.
Current process to sign staff up for training:
1 – the agency DPAL will email the help desk with a training request. This request must include the following:
- Staff name
- Staff email
- Name of the program the staff is working (the way it is listed in HMIS)
- Job duties of the staff member
- Will the staff be working in OneHome coordinated entry
2 – Once the completed request is received, the staff member will be signed up for the LMS and receive an automated email with instructions on accessing the LMS.
3 – All training materials will be contained to the LMS, including videos, quizzes and instructor led training registration. Staff will only be able to sign up for the next part of training once they have completed the previous training. For example, staff will only have the option to sign up for HMIS 201 once they have completed the HMIS 101 videos and passed the quiz.
4 – INSTRUCTOR LED TRAINING: When a staff member is registered for instructor led training, they only need to log into the LMS to access the training. Training will open 15 minutes before training begins and will close 15 minutes after. This means staff that are more than 15 minutes late to training will not have the option of joining the class.
**There is a 48-hour cancellation policy for the instructor led training. The HMIS help desk must be notified if a staff member will not be attending training so we can offer that spot to another user.**
