WHAT TRAINING DO I NEED?
HMIS 101 - This is a series of videos that everyone is required to watch. The videos are posted below. After passing the HMIS 101 quiz, please register for your in person classes, course descriptions below.
HMIS 201 - This instructor led course is required for anyone who will have access to our HMIS software, Clarity. It covers entering clients into the database, recording services received, and a brief tutorial on pulling reports on client data.
HMIS 301 - This instructor led course is for Coordinated Entry participants in the Pikes Peak CoC. The first portion of the class covers how to administer the VI-SPDAT. The second portion of the class covers how to enter the results of a VI-SPDAT into Clarity and refer the client to the queue of individuals waiting for housing opportunities. Those who only need the first portion of this class do not need to take HMIS 101 or 201.
HMIS 401 - This instructor led course covers more in-depth information about reports, including ad hoc reports. It is recommended for DPALs and anyone responsible for submitting reports to HUD. A manager level license is required to get the most of out this class.

NOTE: the first video describes 3 CoC's in Colorado. As of April 1st, 2020, Colorado is welcoming a fourth CoC- Northern Colorado, consisting of Larimer and Weld Counties.
