Due to the sharing capabilities of Clarity, we have to collect a new ROI for every client that presents at your agency. This documents that the client has given consent (written, implied, verbal) for data collection. At times, a client will refuse to provide consent and we need to mark this client record as 'private'.
If you have a client that is not in Clarity:
- When entering the client, there is a section marked Release of Information to the right of the enrollment. You will need to change the Permission to 'No' and Add Record. (Continue below to ALL CLIENTS)
If you have a client that already exist in Clarity:
- You'll need to click the yellow bar at the top of screen where it says (Click Here) to bring up the client's ROI screen. You will need to change the Permission to 'No' and Add Record. (Continue below to ALL CLIENTS)*PLEASE NOTE* If your agency did not create the client or the client is working with another agency, you will not be able to mark this client Private and you will need to contact your CoC Help Desk.
Once you hit Add Record, Clarity will take you the client's Privacy page. You will now need to change the Client Privacy to Private (The word Private will be underlined if you've done this correctly).
Now click Save Changes and if everything is correct, you'll see this success bar.
